Family Pictures Tomorrow

Tomorrow is our much anticipated professional family picture shoot. We have been so bad about getting nice family pictures taken, in fact we don't even have one with Kate in it and she's two! So, we scheduled some pictures about a month ago, and tomorrow is the day. I have been panicking all day about someone whacking their head or getting a bloody lip. (Halle did smack a toy into Carter's mouth earlier this evening and I about came unglued, but luckily the damage was on the inside, behind his tooth. He still bled pretty good. But thankfully no cosmetic damage to mar the picture.) There are still several more hours to go in which this could happen, but I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Now, I am starting to fret over the choice of outfits. Will they look okay together? Is everyone's clean? Does anything need to be ironed? Will I find pants? (Yep, don't have mine yet. Thankfully my mom is babysitting so I can go shopping.) And also the hair-do's have got my mind racing. Three little girls and myself is a LOT to get ready. And keeping everyone all done up is another problem. And then the actual photo shoot itself......holy mackerel, I really hope we can pull off at least one good one!! Wish me luck.

Aren't family pictures horrible? Even though we do ours ourselves, it's still a major pain to get everybody ready. we'll be keeping our fingers crossed for the hair, clothing, no boo-boo's, finding pants luck to smile upon you! Can't wait to see how they turn out. Are these for Christmas purposes or just for yourselves?

Both, we're hoping to get one to put in the Christmas cards (which we HOPE to get in the mail Friday) and then we also just needed to get them done so we had a picture with Kate.

Good luck! They are always a nightmare. I usually have to choose one that is far away so you can't see the kids red eyes from crying after getting in trouble or something! We'll be excited to see!

Good luck! Don't sweat it too much, I did that once and you can totally see it in my face, and my rigid hands holding my 6 month old son!
