These are my most favorite Christmas cookie of all time. My mom made them when I was little and I continue the tradition every year at my house. These take a little time, so pop in a Christmas movie while you bake away. But they are SO worth the effort, I promise.
Snowball Kisses
1 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Cream together, then add:
1 3/4 c. flour
3/4 c. pecans finely chopped (if you don't add these, use a little more flour)
Mix together, then chill for 2 hours.
Shape about 1 Tbsp of dough around a chocolate kiss, making sure no holes are in dough.
Bake @ 375 degrees for 10-12 min. until bottom edges are golden.
Let cool then roll in powdered sugar.

oh my goodness! Looks so good! I just may have to try them with gluten free flour. They wouldn't be nearly as good, but maybe with all that butter and kiss inside they'd still be good. Like I need another good thing to eat right now .....grrrr
Yum! These are kinda like the ones you posted last week - and like what I have on my blog today. Because shockingly, I have a recipe scheduled to post at midnight. Which is now...
Oh boy. Gonna have to try these...
Trying so hard to be good during the holidays so Santa doesn't bring me a buh-donk-a-donk butt for Christmas.
Resolve slipping....

My favorite part is knowing that these are your favorite Christmas cookies of all time.
Why does that sentence sound just funny (funny-wrong, not funny-ha ha) somehow?
Chocolate, favorite, and Elena just go together.
