Ho Ho Ho Around My Wrist

I've always loved charms. I remember my mom had a silver charm bracelet when I was kid and I LOVED playing with it. (By the way Mom, where is that thing?) I had a plastic charm necklace of my very own when I was little and I wore that gaudy thing all over the place.I loved the way it rattled and made lots of noise. My favorite charm was a miniature toothbrush and tube of toothpaste. Just so cute.

I had never heard of Brighton jewelery until I found a piece on some one's blog. I can't remember who. (Kat was it yours?) But ever since I have been a fan and have wanted a big gaudy Brighton charm bracelet of my very own. I can spot someone wearing the stuff from a mile away. It's just so cute.

I briefly mentioned to my hubby that someday when he needed a gift idea, he could buy me a bracelet from Brighton. Well guess who was listening and is ever so clever? My hubby. Look what he surprised me with yesterday.
He gave it to me early so that I could get a little use out of it before Christmas.

It jingles and rattles when I walk. I LOVE it!

Look how cute those little (okay big, this thing weighs a ton) charms all are!

Thank you honey, I adore it! (And I have a feeling that Santa just might bring me another not so seasonal piece in my stocking. Woo-hoo!)

I think it just might have been me. I did a favorite things post about my Brighton backpack purse and all my necklaces - and my watch. All because of a necklace I won :-)

And I LOVE your charm bracelet. Gorgeous! And their stuff is heavy. I don't wear the earrings because of that...

My first charm bracelet was a Three Little Kittens themed bracelet. It was plastic, too. I loved that thing and wore it all the time. I wonder where it went...

I am still(ahem) *charmed* by charm bracelets, so I'm totally jealous, Elena! It's gorgeous! Cheers to your hubby -- what a great gift! Brighton, huh? Gonna have to go check that out!

I used to play with my mothers charm bracelets too. She had quite a collection of them. I will now have to see if I notice anyone a mile away wearing a Brighton bracelet. I will thank Kat, and my friend Elena for making me socially aware of them, and I will think to myself if I ever see anyone wearing one, "Elena likes your bracelet".

That is so cute and I am going over there. What a great guy to get you that.
I took the man out yesterday and held his hand while he shopped for me. I know it will be everything that I wanted but there will be no sureprizes under the tree for me....:<
