Elena Wants To Know...

I want to know why the stomach flu ALWAYS hits at 2 am? Can't it come when I'm wide awake and not stumbling from room to room to find the barf bucket? I'm really not kidding, it always hits in the middle of the night. Does anyone else find this strange?

Yes, Alyssa has the pukes today and is feeling rather sorry for herself. I know she's sick, poor kid and I am being a nice nurse. But when she starts sobbing because the Wheel of Fortune puzzle on tv is "Upset Stomach", I just have to giggle a little.

That is funny! Our family's particular talent is only getting really sick on holiday weekends. No. Really. We do it all the time.

Hope everybody there feels better soon...

Poor baby. Tell her I feel bad for her. And I know why she bawled about the puzzle, because anything that remotely gives that mental image is more than you can take. I can remember staying home with that miserable stuff as a kid and the TV about did me in. It seems like every commercial is about food when you have the stomach flu!!!!!

After last year, I am a firm believer in quarantining (sp?!?) and following behind w/ Clorox wipes!! When I did this, Adam was the only one who got the flu or had the flu - I HATE THE STOMACH FLU!!

Along with that, Stevie wants to know why cuts that need stitches and broken bones only happen after the dr's office is closed.

Jaden had the pukes yesterday - only his started the night before (not in the middle of the night) He's looking at your blog with me right now and wants to play with Carter ... let's make sure they get together next week! I'll call you and we'll have him over for a playdate (and Kate)

true story....always in the middle of the night. and then continuing all through the rest of the day.....don't they know that nights just aren't the best for mom and dad?

I am totally feeling your pain! Carson is fine all day long then two night ago, Croup in the middle of the night. I had to take him to the ER! I have had to do this twice now in the last six months! It sure is fun to race to the ER after you have been asleep, and you are looking super HOT! Sorry about the pukes, that is NEVER fun. Hope she feels better soon, the flu is so nasty! Hope the rest of your clan doesn't have to take a turn! Good Luck!!

Do you still use one of those jumbo white/clear ice cream containers with the handle as your designated barf bucket???
