Yesterday I bought a bag of potatoes. The dirt smell from it is REALLY strong. I don't know why it's "smellier" than normal, but it is. Everytime I get a whiff of it I think to myself, "Man, where were these potatoes when I was pregnant?"
Anyway, today when Halle got home from school she opened the pantry to get a snack and said, " I smell ladybugs!" LOL! Bet you don't keep ladybugs in your pantry. And I bet you didn't know ladybugs had a smell.

Well, of course, she would have the perfect description for it!
Well, hey, at least that's better than saying it smells like a stink bug! :)
You must be a wonderful mom, because your kids are soooo creative!
you both crack me up! and that is the cutest dang ladybug i have ever seen.
Mom- Yep leave it to Halle to come up with that to describe a ladybug's smell.
Fur- Oh I hope my pantry doesn't smell like stink bugs!
Deanna- It's nothing I've done. Halle is just a really creative kid.
Becky- Isn't he cute, I just loved him.
I like the cute ladybug picture. I was thinking you would say that when you opened the bag of potatoes, you found a ladybug munching away.
So much funnier what Halle said. I think I might think of that the next time I smell my potatoes.
Does she ever stop coming up with great lines? She is so adorable. I totally admire you for always remembering to record them!
