Monkey See, Monkey Do

Alyssa was on one couch reading, Halle and I on the other. Next thing I knew, Kate joined us with "Runaway Ralph" in hand. She sat and stared at the "stripes" (that's what she calls the words) for at least 20 minutes while the rest of us read. Oh I hope she'll love to read one day!

Cute picture. I love it when little kids copy big kids stuff, it's too cute. Brancyn grabs a book, lays on his stomach with his legs kicked up in the air behind him-just like Liberty. I've yet to catch a picture of it though.

too cute. :) Will it still be as cute when she's reading with a flashlight under the covers?! :)

Oh my! What's cuter, the fact that she is trying to read with you guys or that she calls the words "stripes"! Way to set a good example! You have the sweetest kids! I love having Halle in my class, and I was so proud of her when she bore her testimony!

I love watching the birth of a reader! If you are a reader, your kids will naturally follow in your footsteps...

How sweet! That is just way too precious! Way to go in documenting it! I feel like Meeka's cuteness will melt away forgotten because I'm so bad about documenting anything now that I'm not blogging much...
