Strange Things...

Funky things have been going on over here. I feel like I've entered the Twilight Zone, or maybe just the "things are are never dull at the Manwarings" zone.

1. Carter's lamp light bulb exploded all over his bed. No one touched it or anything, just "POP" and glass was everywhere. Thankfully, he wasn't laying in the bed.

2. A tree sprouted up in my weed patch back flower bed from a seed. I think the seed must have come down the storm drain and there is now a 7 foot tree. (Don't know what kind, but a tree none the less.)

3. I've decided to become a couponer and I love it. (This is the weirdest thing of all listed.)

4. And finally, yesterday, I spotted a badger taking a leisurely stroll down the sidewalk in front of my house. (No, I don't live in the country.)

So bizarre...

    The light bulb thing is completely scary! The tree makes me laugh. A storm drain huh?! Lastly, send me some advice on how be a "super couponer" like you! Or at least post some tips on it!

    Now I had to laugh because reading that list everything is kind of bizarre except the couponing.
    The badger is scary. We had one run across our backyard years ago when we lived in Boise and our kids were little. Those things can be really mean and dangerous.
    What the heck is with the tree - that is super weird!

    I thought your trees were doing pretty good, for growing up a storm drain! Maybe not thriving, but alive!

    That badger incidence sounds kinda funky...and you're so close to the school and everything! Weird!

    You should teach me a bit on the couponing. :)

    I love that a seven foot tree is just there. you make it sound like it happened yesterday.

    And coupons. WATCH OUT!!!! so addicting. I seriously had to ban myself for a while so I could get myself under control. Do you grocery game? savvyshopperdeals.com the list goes on....hope you have fun!

    Life is never dull huh?

    I wish that I could do the coupon thing, I just go and get and never think about it, but I am sure that it would help in the money area. Way to go girl.

    Also check the trees leaves to see what you have sprouting there. It could be a Chinese Elm or a Cottonwood both if which you do not want in your yard. The elm has buggy beetles on it and the Cottonwood gets super big super fast aside from the cotton blowing around.

    Mister badger was just looking for someone to play with I am sure or maybe he was on the prowel.....does the movie "Over the Hedge" ring a bell.....
