We have been having such fun looking at things and trying our hand at "digiscoping". That's where you take a picture with your regular camera through the telescope's lens. It's really quite fun. We don't have the little piece that actually holds the camera to the lens yet, so our first try was a little tough.

Ahhhh....that's more like it. It was a perfect half moon night. Carter said it looked like the letter "D". Can't wait to see what we can get when our little camera holder gets here.
That is amazing! I didn't know things like that existed for regular cameras. I hope you post more of these pictures!

ReplyDeleteAwesome. Richard got a telescope one year too. The boys love it. Haven't tried taking pictures through it though. Hmmm... might have to see about that.
