Digiscoping

For Father's Day (yes it's still 3 weeks away) Jarom bought himself (and yes, he's a bugger) a telescope. Well, technically I think it's a monoscope, but that's neither here nor there.

We have been having such fun looking at things and trying our hand at "digiscoping". That's where you take a picture with your regular camera through the telescope's lens. It's really quite fun. We don't have the little piece that actually holds the camera to the lens yet, so our first try was a little tough.

Getting set up.

The view the camera could get without the aid of the scope.

Oh, that's a lovely shot of the inside of the scope.

Hmmmm....not quite there.

Ahhhh....that's more like it. It was a perfect half moon night. Carter said it looked like the letter "D". Can't wait to see what we can get when our little camera holder gets here.

Oh....and yes, it was 4 batches, and it was your delicious recipe. I LOVE milk chocolate chips. I snagged another recipe from another lady. I'll try hers next, and she gave it VERY willingly. You're right about recipe people.
