Where's the name?

Yesterday at the Wal*Mart parking lot, Halle was intently looking at license plates on various cars. I asked her what she was doing and she said, "Mom, where does it say the name?"

Me- "The name of what?" (Thinking she meant the county indicator.)

Halle- "You know....their name. Like Jack or something."

Note to myself...don't say, "Get out of my way you big Jack," while driving with Halle. LOLLLL!!!

  4. LOL! :-D

At best, the other drivers out there are named "Sweetie" or "Dear" or "Darlin'" in my car. Before you think I'm too nice, these pet names are usually accompanied with dripping sarcasm.

Like, "by all means, take your TIME, darlin'!"

    ;-)

  10. Okay, I'm confessing - I've been reading your blog for many months now and I'm letting you know :-). You actually DO know me. I was Julie Williams' roommate in college. I have a private blog but I'll invite you if you like.

P.S. I have another confession to make. I'm really sad we didn't get to be better friends in college because as I've gotten to "know" you through your blog I can see what an amazing person you are and I wish I would have gotten to be friends with you when I had the chance :-).
