Boring Saturday

What do you do when it's cold and snowy outside and you are bored? Go to the mall and get a new Webkinz, of course. They each got to get a new Webkinz and with 3 kids who know how to use the computer, and 3 computers in the house, 3 kids were very happy for a very long time. For little number 4, well, she was just happy that she got a new toy out of the deal and was content with that. It made for a very peaceful Saturday afternoon for Mom and Dad.

Alyssa got a porcupine named Spikers. She originally name him Prick (which Dad thought was absolutely hysterical) but Mom convinced her to rename him. Halle got a cute little sea horse which she named Vanessa. Carter got a fish named Superhero and boy was he excited to have his second Webkinz. He got Hoppy Frog last year and has wanted a new one really bad. Kate got her very first Webkinz, a cute little Valentine Monkey which she calls Hearts. I've never seen her love a stuffed animal so much. It's really cute.

Man I wish I would have invented Webkinz. I would be one RICH lady by now.

Webkins! What a racket. We've got some, but the website never works well. I usually have very frustrated kids. Boy they sure get excited for a stuffed animal don't they? Cute!

Those things are the gifts that just keep giving! I have never seen a stuffed animal that my kids play with more!

My husband would have laughed hysterical at the porcupines first given name as well. Boys will be boys! Hope everyone is healthy at your house again.

What I can't figure out is why I wasn't the one to invent Jibbits- you know, the decorations you stick into the holes on Crocs. That lady sold her design to Crocs for $20M. No kidding. Oh, I know why it wasn't me. Because I am too cheep to pay $25 for foam shoes WITH HOLES IN THEM multiplied by 5!

I'm also too cheep to buy Webkins....

My kids, none of them, are interested in toys. They just want to do art, read, play outside, and cuddle animals. Yeah. We're very 40's like that. :0) Although I am grateful that I don't have to invest a lot of money in toys, you'd be surprised how art sucks the pocketbook dry.

What's wrong with the name "Prick"? Is he not prickly? :) LOL! That is hilarious! So fun, so fun. And your story was remarkable...I would LOVE a signed copy! :)

The IF mall!!! Haven't seen it in years :)!

I know I use to be "anti-webkinz", but I think I'm kind of changing my mind now. I think it was that statement about peace....aaaaah.....peace :).
