Toothless Wonder

This morning Carter came screaming in to me telling me that he had his first loose tooth. I was a little shocked. He's only 4! (He'll be 5 in March, but still, he's so young.) Before I even had any time to lament the fact that my baby boy would soon be losing his baby smile, he came running back in the room with one less tooth in his head. He's the bravest one yet, no tears or anything. (Alyssa just lost a tooth the other night and bawled for an hour straight before the thing fell out on its own.)

I seriously think I'm a little in shock. How can my BABY boy be losing his teeth already?! And it wasn't even a bottom front one like the girls both lost first. It was a top one next to the front teeth. I'm wondering if because he has an extra tooth, if the poor thing just got crowded right out of his mouth.

Everyone pray that the Tooth Fairy does her job tonight. She's so forgetful at this house.

when the tooth fairy forgot to come at my SIL's house, she told her girls it was because they forgot to make the bed so the tooth fairy had to wait until the next night. You can keep that one handy in case it ever happens again!

Carter you were very brave.. Callie said that she can't even believe it. She is older than you and still has all her teeth. Hope the tooth fairy came.

That is an odd place to lose a first tooth! But how exciting for him - and his smile is just priceless!

Yeah...the tooth fairy here is a real slacker...

no no no no no!!! Carter is just a baby! He needs to keep GROWING teeth, not losing them!

Hopefully will get messenger back up soon and can chat with you.....or you COULD always call :)!

I just looked at this again. I am still in shock! Did the tooth fairy come? She might not be looking for little four year old boys.

Oh no! I'm dreading that day at this house. I think I'm gonna have an Alyssa not a Carter.

We once had a tooth *fall out*, no, I mean literally, because the Sweet Girl was too scared to do anything to it to make it come out. Sheesh. The drama. The Tooth Fairy. The sneaking. The money.....

Wow! That is cool! Cooper asks me everyday if he has a "loosed" tooth yet!

Did the tooth fairy make it?
She was not very timely at our house a couple of weeks ago, but I just blamed it on the weather!!

Hey, don't worry...my little Tucker is barely six and has lost nearly ALL of his teeth, starting when he was THREE. (his teeth are weak from not using them) But, it has been sad becuase he could care less about money from the tooth fairy at that time and now, he's lost most of his teeth! Carter looks darling with one less tooth! And so proud!

How did we MISS THIS HUGE DETAIL in our conversations? Could it be because I hogged all of the topics over my cooking woes?

yep...
