Happier Thoughts

Okay, I'm tired of all the sad posts; it's time for something happy and carefree. This certainly doesn't mean that I take lightly any of the trials that my friends and family are going through at this time. It simply means that there are good times mixed with bad.

I was going through my files and found these two cute shots of Carter and Alyssa. Nothing makes my heart more happy than my kids. (Nothing makes me more crazy either, but we're sticking to happy thoughts today.)

And how about this beautiful snowfall?
This was Saturday morning. The flakes were the biggest I think I've ever seen. Around 2 inches or more. So pretty. And as happy as I was to have been starting to see my grass, there really is nothing more beautiful than freshly fallen snow. I think we've recieved just under a foot of fresh snow this past weekend. It's still definitly winter here.

Such sweet kids! I love your snow picture because you have those flowers (weeds? grass? some object?) at the front of it. It adds great depth!

If you had a little pixie dust to add to those happy thoughts, you could fly.

I'm laughing indside my head at what a nerd I am! I typed "those" and thought, "OOH! A demonstrative pronoun!" Which I learned today with my 7th grader.

I too loved watching the snow come down last night, it was so peaceful.

Glad that you are looking on the bright side of life and kids do have a way of doing that with their big smiles.

Your kids are so adorable, and can I just say that I think your Carter and my Cooper would probably be the best of friends! They both have that spark in their eyes that makes you worry, but that look on their faces that wins you over to their charms! Oh the trouble those two could cause, except Cooper does not sleep like Carter!

Happy thoughts are good. Thanks and I will be praying for Jerom's Aunt.

I think you beat us in the snow department this weekend. The first big snowfall you had pretty much missed us. I agree with you though, I was enjoying the meltdown, but the new snow is just beautiful.
