It seems I have a little squirrel living in my house.

It's getting ready for winter by burying pumpkin cookies in my couch.

And storing chocolate chips in the windowsill.
Hmmm...Do
squirrels drink the rest of the
cider from the jug and use towels to clean up the spills?

Nope, it's only two busy children who empty all the
Nesquik on the counter and then use the dirty dishes in the sink to soak their feet.
Ah -- *real* life in all its glory! LOL Loved the pictures.
ReplyDeletethat was funny! lucky you ;)
ReplyDeleteyes: real life in all its glory...the things we mom's come upon during our day
For a minute there I thought you were showing my house....?
ReplyDeleteKids when they are that cute how can you possibly get upset with them....
Great giggle for the day.
I want some pumpkin cookies. Please. And thank you.
ReplyDeleteI love your blog today.. your kids are so dang cute. hmmm late night snack and every girl needs a pedicure now and then.
ReplyDeleteAt least they didn't shove anything perishable in the couch! Finding pumpkin cookies=cute, finding old cheese=NOT cute! :)
ReplyDeleteI finally got around to posting, thanks for noticing that I fell off the face of the earth! :)
Welcome to the world of "mom"! Isn't it so fun! What makes it even better is when your VT's drop in unexpectedly and see this type of goings on! Oh...and they don't have kids...See, it could be worse!LOL!
ReplyDeleteOh my heck I think those squirrels has cousins at my house. My squirrels are bigger and make biggger messes. Your squirrels sure are cute.
ReplyDeleteLOL! I have to ask...were you blogging when the squirrels were prepin for winter? j/k
ReplyDeleteYeah!! I am so glad that it doesn't only happen at my house. I seriously am going to sleep better tonight! That picture of the two squirrels is priceless. (and at least Kate has clean feet:)
ReplyDeleteLove this series! Your kids are SO lucky you let them be kids! I'm afraid my OCD tendancies might make me a MEAN mom!! But, hey. Maybe I should just let it go. How bad could a little bit of sticky hurt me??
ReplyDeleteYour kids are so funny! I did call from Montana, but I couldn't find the blocks...I was at a craft store, and while I was spending, I thought I might as well splurge!!! I'll have to look here in I.F. for the 'supplies'.
ReplyDeleteOh I love it! Her cute little piles (and look at you all brave with these pictures!). It's inspiring.
ReplyDeletebtw....another darling picture of little Kate. For heaven's sakes, we need to find a beauty pagent mommy to adopt her for the competitions (and then give her right back to you of course).
Now this presents more questions? Others may ask, "wha? Are you offending Elena? Why can't she take her own daughter to said competitions?"
Because Elena simply doesn't care....
I'm still curious to see how well Kate would do. Her talent could be storing up food for the winter in her little corners around the house.
Oh, the life of a mother.
ReplyDeletethose two are non-stop, aren't they! how funny!
ReplyDeleteMan, I love your kids!! Constant entertainment.
ReplyDeletePosts like these just SCREAM **YOU!*** :) I loooooove them!
