Try-It-Tuesday

This past weekend was General Conference (we get to stay in our jammies and watch church on t.v.) and it's tradition to do something fun for breakfast. These little diddies are called biscuit bubble rings, don't ask me why, because I don't know. But I do know they are simple and yummy for a breakfast treat.

Biscuit Bubble Rings

Make biscuits per Bisquik directions. Roll out and cut. Next roll in butter then brown sugar. Bake for time on Bisquik box.
Can't get much easier than that. Serve with a frothy cup of hot cocoa and you're good to go.

****If you have a tried and true recipe you'd be willing to share, leave a comment with the recipe title and post the recipe on your blog so we can all come and check it out. Thanks for playing; the more the merrier! ****

The second I am done dieting for the ball I going to come back to your blog and make every recipe you've ever posted and eat it all myself!

Ok, maybe I won't make and eat EVERYTHING, but I'm definitely trying these biscuit bubbles. (Even the name sounds good :)

Here is my granola bar recipe:

My boys(husband included) LOVE them.

We always make something yummy during Conference weekend, too. In the past, it's been monkey bread, cinnamon rolls, or "Dad's big fry up". We went with lunch and dinner this time 'round -- homemade Soft Oatmeal bread and Homemade Chili (that last one is a WW recipe).

Mmmmm. The house smelled SO good....it went perfectly with the cold storm blowing outside! :-)

I love how simple they are and rolled in cinnamon sugar, emmmmm.
You will have to give me the brownie recipe you talked about on my blog.

I have Zucchini Bread on my T-I-T.

Love the new look, very spooky and fun!!!

Those do look tasty! I loved your comment about Carter's song! Poor kids. Somehow we just have to assume they are saying the bad things!

those look good---are they dry at all: b/c i know that bisquick panckaes can be awfully fry sometimes....but anything with sugar on it is goooood!

Tamie- they are little bit dry, but I put more butter on them. (So not a diet food.) But Bisquik pankcakes are my favorite, so maybe you wouldn't like them if you don't like the pancakes.

Shelly, is my older sister Michelle! Did you know "Wicked" was coming to SLC next summer? I think tickets go on sale in December! Have you heard anything about a 15 yr class reunion? I ran into Natalie Huls-Burtenshaw the other day at Walmart, and she said some people were going to try to plan on one! I guess they are setting up accounts on facebook! I just opened one, I don't know exactly how it works, but let me know if you are interested or if you already have one, and I will invite you to join the crowd! For your Try-It Tuesday, it looks like Zucchini is the theme! I have a great Cocounut Zuchinni Bread Recipe I will post today on my blog! It is so yummy!!!

Those look great!! Thanks for visiting today via BATW!! Yes, the ducks live in the hotel - there is even a spot on the roof that is all decorated for them to play (or atleast there use to be).
