National Delurking Day

Lula over at Lulaville has declared today National Delurking Day. I just barely delurked myself to her a couple of weeks ago. Thank goodness or I would have had to do it today on Delurk Day.

Anywho...I think it is a GREAT idea to have a day that is SAFE for all you scaredy cat non commenters to delurk all together. Believe me, I am the chicken of all chickens when it comes to commenting, but I promise I won't bite. I'll even be nice and leave a little comment love on your own blog. You don't ever have to comment here again (unless you want to of course), but I would really love to know who you all are.

I get on average 65 hits a day. (Yeah, I'm just a little blog.) And I'm sure some of those are return visits and me visiting my own self. But, I also know there are a few of you who just aren't letting me know you've come by.

So today on National Delurking Day won't you please tell me who you are? Pretty please? And in return, I'm going to Delurk myself on a couple of blogs that I frequently stalk. See...we're all going to make new friends today. How fun!

Oh and all you regulars, you can comment today too because you know I love it.

Step right up! Who's gonna be first?

But now I've looked around and I like what I see! I will be back!

Well I don't lurk anymore, but I lurked on your website for quite awhile before coming clean. I admit it was because I had Carter and Kate in nursery! I am glad that I am getting to know their mom now too! By the way I am "borrowing" this idea. I have had quite a few lurkers on my blog lately!

Yeah, you know who I am, 'cause I pop my head and say hello. Thanks so much for the comment love over on my blog! Elena, if your blog is small, then mine must be a baby sister! I'm not getting 60+ hits yet.

Love your blog, and checking in with you. Delurking Day is a great idea! Let's do it every year.

I am not a lurker. Perhaps because I have a lot to say? But I always wonder about the lurkers. And why the lurk rather than comment. I just assumed it was because they had nothing to add to the conversation. So that was why I started adding questions at the end of all of my posts.

My lurkers seem to like to stay hidden :-)

I am not coming out. I am still Queenie and no one will ever know my true identity. Waha ha ha haaaaa
But I still love to come and see what you are up to. Your comments on Jennifer P's post about the cyberdating were priceless. Poor thing, like she needs dating in her hectic life.
Have fun with your Delurcking day!!!

OOooOOOooh...blogging goodness. I hope bloggy buddies feel safe to come out of their shells and say hello to you! As a member of the "shell society", and can say, on behalf of Elena, that she will treat you very kindly, and will never bite.

Bloggy goodness is fun (what a great idea Elena).

If you want I can lurk for the rest of the year and then wait until next year's delurking day to explain myself. Good idea? No?
