First Snowfall of the Year

The kids were SO excited to play in the first snow of the year today. (I can't say I shared in their enthusiasm, but it was fun to watch them enjoy it through the window.)

Uh-oh, here comes the littlest one in her summer clothes.

She HATES it! (Next time put some clothes on kid!) Don't worry, in about as much time as it took you to read this, is all the time she was out there. As soon as I saw her walking out, I clicked the picture then headed outside to get her changed into something warmer.

AWWW she looks so upset ... that would be my Megan she doesnt think that clothes and weather have anything to with each other.
Cute pictures!

How fun that the snow is falling already! I cant wait for some here, and praying for a SUPER HUGE blizzard or ice storm in January when Hubbys home on R&R.

some just aren't ready to say good-bye to those fun summer clothes. i have to remind my 5 year-old every morning that he can't wear shorts to school any more.
no snow here yet, just lots of drizzle and rain this weekend.

Oh I love snow....but I'm not quite ready for it YET!!!! I have a little one who is refusing warm shirts, pants and coats.....fling yourself on the floor and scream kind of refusing. I really didn't think of thing of Kate out there like that :-)

We got the snow here today. I woke up and could not believe it. I swear that we just had the A/C on. I am glad your kids had fun in it, we got home from Church and it was almost all gone. I love the first snow of the season.

That little Kate looks cute even when she is crying and freezing! My daughter-age6- went out in a coat, boots, and capri's! It was very funny! Glad your kiddos could enjoy such a chilly day!!

OH Look at our Kate.
She looks so unhappy.
Oh Kate, in Dallas you would still be sporting the sundresses, Babe.
Your snow looks divine!

We got some of the white stuff here this weekend, too. It's a little too early for me. Bleh. I'm still in "fall" mode.

Loved the pics. You are great at capturing the moment. :-)

I thought about you this weekend. As our highs were in the 80's. And we had a bit of rain last week so all my flowers are blooming again - especially my roses. And I thought about you and your snow. And I can't decide which I'd like better!

Can I tell you that it was 81 here today and will be all week! It's like summer doesn't want to let go which is fine with me!
