Are you kidding me?

I got an award! Me! Little 'ol me! Okay, really my blog got the award, but still, it's all the same.

Queenie, well really Queen but I call her Queenie, over at Shiners House of Fun nominated me for the "I love your blog" award. THANK YOU!! My blog is SOOOOO not award worthy. It's just a record of my family and life, but I appreciate all the readers I have. You make me feel happy each and every day. I've not only reconnected with old friends, but made many new friends as well. I just love blogging.

Now I get to nominate 7 other blogs that I love, to pass the award on to. Honestly all of you deserve this award, (and quite frankly I'm pretty sure it will find it's way to you) and some of you already have it.

The rules of this award are:
1. The winner can put the logo on his/her blog.
2. Link the person you received your award from.
3. Nominate at least 7 other blogs.
4. Put links of those blogs on yours.
5. Leave a message on the blogs of the people you’ve nominated

So , in no particular order except alphabetical, here are the blogs I choose:

Angela-Since she is the entire reason I started blogging. I LOVED to keep up with her darling family and she talked me into doing my own blog.

Becky- She was my first family member to jump on the blog band wagon and she does a bang up job of staying updated.

Debbie - Debbie was my first "outsider" commenter and I absolutely love her Blog Around the World she's started. It's so much fun to go on a "trip" everyday and learn about people and ways from all over.

Elise- She was the person that encouraged me to really "blog hop" and post things other than pictures of my kids. I love her motto of being sure to have a picture of yourself up every so often. "We all think your kids are cute, but what we really want to see is you," that's what Elise says. Plus she got me addicted to monthly blog headers.

Julie W.- She's gone private so you won't get to read all about her, but she has fun topics on her blog and I love to see her cute family.

Lee Ann- She CRACKS me up! Blogging has been such a fun way to get to know Lee Ann better. Plus she has adorable little girls. I like to think that my Kate and Lee Ann's Anna look like sisters.

Miki- Yet another private blogger, but such a great friend. I am SOOOO glad I FINALLY talked her into starting a blog. Plus her husband has a new profile picture EVERY time he comments. So hilarious!

Thanks again to Queenie. This was fun! And I guess keeping a faithful record of your family does deserve some type of recognition doesn't it?!

I am so glad that you got it and are enjoying spreading the love. I am glad that we are bloggy friends.

I saw one blogger that made this her personal history. Each year she downloads it into a book. So there you go scrapbooking, journaling all in one. See there is a good reason for blogging other than mindless chatter with complete strangers.

Elena! Thank you. I like this one, because it has all to do with saying, "I like your blog"! Awwww, shucks.

Thank you for talking me into doing it. I'm so addicted now. Life is fun when you get to share it with friends and family. Awwww. I might just go ahead and actually post this one...somewhere near the bottom. It's a bit embarrassing. I don't know why? Now I want that award back that Jennifer gave to me. It's nice to get acknowledged. Maybe I can scroll through and retrieve it!

Thanks Elena.

Congrats!! Now I feel guilty for not spreading the love with all the awards I got and posted about. I so would have given you one.

And don't you love it when you convince your friends that they need to dip their toes in the water of blogging?
