Apples for the Class

Halle had to provide snacks for her class.

Grandma's tree was OVERFLOWING with apples.

Provide a few good pickers...

And treats will be had by all. (We taste tested them first. These apples are the perfect combo of sweet and tart. Mmmmm.... Fall is in the air.)

Cute blog page and what a great, healthy idea. I love it when we make do with what we have too.

Those look so good. I love a good sweet and tart apple on a fall day. Can you believe that the heat is finally going away? I am so ready for fall....

That's exactly what the orchard trees looked like, brimming with apples galore. I can't wait for my tree to provide fruit like that!

mmmmmm.

I want fruit trees in my yard. I need to figure out what might grow here. And if they need to come in pairs. But, alas, I procrastinate.

What are you going to do with your harvest?

Kat- Most of these went to the school for Halle's class. The rest that we picked, we've just been eating. My kids have had so many I'm surprised they don't have the runs. My mother in law wants to can some applesauce with the rest on the tree.
