PedEgg REALLY works!

Our local news does a segment every now and then testing products to see if they are all they're cracked up to be. They featured the PedEgg a couple months ago and said that it worked. Then a lady at my church said she had used it and loved it (Hi Brenda!) and my sister-in-law (Hi Nat) also agreed that it worked. I decided that I would give it a try.
Well, I couldn't find one to buy. I'd heard they were at Walmart, but I looked and looked and never found one. Until last night. Guess what? They were right by the check stands with all the other "As Seen on TV" gadgets and gizmos. So I threw one in my cart and couldn't wait to get to home and work on my heels.

Now, I'm telling you, I have ROUGH heels. Not just sandpaper scratchy heels, but cracked, callused, nasty heels that could match the surface of Craters of the Moon lava beds. They always snagged my bed sheets, socks, and hose (if I ever wear them), even on carpet my heels would catch. I've tried everything out there from creams, emery boards, cheese grater looking things, lotions and potions, but nothing ever quite left my poor cracked heels feeling smooth and silky.

After a few minutes of scrubbing with the PedEgg, a smoothing with the emery board provided, and a slathering of mint foot cream, my heels were softer than they've been in years! I am SO excited. And the best part of it all is that it doesn't hurt what-so-ever. I'm almost excited for my heels to get nasty again so I can use my fun new favorite pampering toy again.

If you don't have one, GO GET the PedEgg! It really works! (Do I sound like a commercial?)

Cool! I saw this on Saturday at Bed Bath and Beyond and almost bought it, but thought "Nothing really works that great", but NOW I really want to go back and get it! Thanks for the post!

YES!! I totally agree with you...it really does work, and the best part? You can actually see how much stuff you are getting off your heels! Pretty cool...

I'm so glad you finally got one! There is NOTHING better than soft feet. I took a tip from Katie and try to do it every day real quick before i get in the shower. Yay for the PedEgg!

Elena--we SO had this conversation!!! I remember us staring at each others heels. Yours were like mine...and we both shrugges and said, "oh well".

This sounds just....gross! LOL.

Sigh...I NEED one I guess. Oh for heaven's sake, how many people look at my heels in the store (or elsewhere) and think, "she needs to DO something!"

How much do they cost? lol.

Steve had to get one too....I guess REGULAR use is a good thing too! (Did you know the ped egg comes in male and female varieties?? We, of course, have the man ped egg....Shhh...don't tell!)

I just saw one at WalGreens and wondered what that thing was. Now I know, it is not a cheese grater, it is a heel grinder and something that this pedicure deprived momma needs desperately. You should get a kick back for all the good advertising of the Ped Egg!!!

I've gotten use to scrubbing at my heels with a pumice, but grating at them with a cheese grater thing---I'm just not convinced that there wouldn't be pain involved :)!

Enjoy your soft heels though!

Okay I just have to know how everyone is changing their thingys up there in the corner to the cute little E and what not. So are you gonna tell us or are you taking bids....?

I have gross heels too. And it's the entire reason I get regular pedicures. I love that they get scraped and pumiced. But in the winter I don't get there as much...so I am thinking that a pedegg is in my future...

Miki- It was $10 and worth EVERY penny.

Jennifer- I honestly swear it doesn't hurt a bit and it works so much better than a pumice stone.

Quennie- Go to Blog Around the World (in my "sites I read" link or off Debbie's site) and on Wednesday's Alabama features there is a lady named Janet @ Creekside Sizeloves. Click on her and then her Sunday Aug 24th post gives a step by step of how to do it. It's really easy. It you have more questions let me know.

I have one too and I just love it. My feet have never looked so nice. They are smooth and don't rip up big patches of carpet when I walk anymore. LOL!!

I am so grossed out about the commercial on TV, and all the fluffy skin that just pours out of that little plastic egg. GROSS.

But, if it works, I might try it.
