It's Here!

I have been wanting to print my blog in hard form ever since I started doing it. After seeing Lee Ann's beautiful book, I couldn't wait any longer. Today my book showed up and I am so excited I can hardly stand it. This is just the 2006 book, and I only blogged half of the year that year. Still the book ended up being almost 200 pages long. When I get around to 2007 and 2008 I'll probably have to do them quarterly or something. But I am just so excited to have my journal/scrapbook/photo album really sitting on my shelf today!!! Hooray for technology.

*I got this one from blurb.com and it was quite simple to do after I figured out what I was doing.

My sister-in-law just did a really cute one that looks more like a regular scrapbook from picaboo.com, but I don't think that program uploads your blog for you. It's more like a cut and paste thing, but it was sure darling.

I'm so excited for you! 200 pages! That's a ton! I don't think mine is nearly as long as that, but it's only about 6 months worth.

I will not covet!!! But that is so AWESOME!!! Thanks for sharing! I'm going to have to get that done, because this blogging thing is really theraputic and my journaling, to some extent!!! Thanks, again!

Oh my goodness. I'm like one of those teenaged school girls all over again, who sees an awesome hair style of someone else, and just has to have it for herself!!

Maybe your thing is clothes (I can relate) or nails (can't really relate) or cars (eh), but this book. I really think I just have to have one!!!

It's actually motivating me to take more, and BETTER pictures of my kids in family, in anticipation of a cool book!!!

Cool Elena, just cool.

Yepppp uhh, cool. (Like Elain's boyfriend on Seinfeld. Can you hear it?).

Try it again.... Yepppp uhh, cool.

lol

Julie- You should do it, it's really fun to look back at everything.

Lee Ann- All I can say is that your hubby loves you like something else. This was quite the project.

Bceky- Can't wait til your's comes! And don't ask me to be creative, I wanted to ask you to do the same for mine.

Deanna- Isn't it theraputic? (And a little addictive. I'm trying to work on that.) But so fun!

Emily- Just go to blurb.com and it will walk you through the whole thing. It cost ~$60 for this 200 page one. Not too bad. It does take some time to get the layout all the right way, but it's not hard. I do wish they had a few more layout options though.

Miki- Yepppp, uhhhh pretty cool! Now you know why I have been so addicted to getting it done.

Kacey- You should definitly get one printed!

Your blog book is sooo neat! It has inspired me to make one....after I've blogged a little longer. Question though. How long did it take you to format the whole thing? Also, could you pick and choose what entries to put in or did you have to use all of them?

Way neat!!! That will be fun to have!

Jewelle- You can pick and choose what entries you want. I'm still not sure about adding additional entiries once the book is started. I'm afraid it would undo everything that was already done. And it took about 15 minutes to upload to my computer and then I spent about 3 weeks getting it the way I wanted it. It was a little time consuming and addicting.
