Tender Mercies

I have been debating whether or not to post about his, but since it's been such a significant part of our lives these past few days, and since I use this blog as sort of a personal journal, I decided to go ahead and do it.

Monday Jarom's niece, Sami, was hospitalized because she was pretty incoherent and couldn't remember things (not even her family members). After about 8 hours being in that state, she started to come out of it. They ran all sorts of tests and finally concluded that she had had a seizure. We all waited on pins and needles for the results of the MRI. After 2 long days, we heard the GREAT news that she suffered no permanent damage and she has a clean bill of health. We are so grateful for this blessing and want to let Sami know how much we love her!!!!!!

Sami as a baby; she is now a great big 10 year old. My how time flies!

I remember a happy birthday to Sami post not too long ago. She's a cutie! How scary for the parents, but how wonderful that everything turned out alright. Do they think it was a one time thing, or linked to epilepsy? (you don't have to tell us if that's getting too personal. I just always love a happy ending!)

We really have no answers to that question. I guess only time will tell.
