Bra shopping with kids.

WARNING: Parental discretion advised. :)

The other day all (2) of my bras were in the wash. I needed to go to the store, but decided to wait so I could be fully dressed. However, as the day went on, my bras just wouldn't get dry and I had places I needed to be. So, I decided to go to WalMart, bra-less, and just buy a new one while I was there. I put on the baggiest shirt I own, and headed off, all four kids in tow. (Praying that I don't see anyone I know.)

We get to the intimate apparel department and I start searching for my size. The kids are asking, "Why are we here mom? What are you looking for?" So I tell them I need to grab a new bra. They immediatly begin to help me. Carter picks up, touches, and cups every "pretty" one he sees. "Oh mom, dis one's pretty. It's pink." "Wook at dis one!" Nothing like teaching your 3 year old son about women's clothing. Alyssa figures out the sizing involved and says, "Mom, here's a 40 DD (dee-dee), is that what you need?" Uh....thanks, but...no. Halle finds every black , camo, and tiger striped bra in the place asking how come I don't get that one. Finally, I just grab one and go. FORGET trying it on with all the kids.

We leave WalMart and proceed to the truck in the parking lot. I put the bra on in the truck and realize I look like Madonna wearing cones. Oh-well!! I had places to be, so I went. Madonna cones and all.
