Final post for India.

I received the last of the pictures from India tonight. I thought I would post a few more of my favorites, saving the best for last. If Jarom and/or his co-workers would like to add more captions please do so. I am sure we would all enjoy knowing a bit more about each picture.
Ronna just sent me more info to add for the pictures. I'll put quotes around her comments.
This looks like he's selling cauliflower.
"We passed this HUGE open air market with dozens of stalls like this one selling all kinds of fruits and vegetables - some we could identify, some we couldn't. There were always cows milling around munching on whatever looked good. I REALLY wanted to stop at this market - Jarom was so not pleased at that prospect. It was good for him that we were always on our way to work when we drove past it. It was never there when we came out."

I just thought I would throw this one in to represent what the streets seem to typically look like.

I assume this guy is selling offerings for a temple. "These are religious offerings -- people hang them on their mirrors or drape them over their hoods (maybe to ask for protection from the traffic..;-)) -- they also take the flowers to the Hindu temples when they pray."

The entire crew. "From left to right: Ronna Parish, Jarom Manwaring, Robyn Walters, Ravinder Singh (our country host), Jaybell Raj (the senior IPG trainer). Ravinder and Jaybell took excellent care of us while we were there - -arranging for tea and cookies to be sent to our meeting room (sometimes 3-4 times a day), taking care of our driver, etc. They were so hospitable."

And my most favorite picture of all...(Yes those are a little baby's toes sticking out on the mother's lap.) Don't you think we take things a little too serious in America? Wouldn't life be more pleasant if we could just hop on the back of a motorcycle, no helmuts, no car seat, and just get to where we needed to go?

Unbelievable! I don't think I could handle being transported like that with my little guy! I really like the idea of being strapped in. But, you know me! (;
